Synchronous Meeting: Describe the Picture Game
To continue practicing vocabulary and speaking, we will have a description game. The classroom is going to be divided into two teams (blue and red). A random picture will appear on the screen and every student has to create one sentence that describe the picture. Main rule is no repetition, students cannot participate more than once per picture and students from each group cannot use the same words from any other participants. The first team who say or write three sentences will get a point. And we will continue to the next picture until get maximum 10 images. Losing team will present a sentence per each member of team with the image selected by winning team.

Students are going to follow platform reading about Food and Culture (Activity 2) from page 83.

Synchronous Meeting: Infinitive of Purpose - Questions
First, Students will listen and check the
correct way to use Infinitive of Purpose (Teacher Explanation)
Then, Students will complete the listening activity (point 3) and quiz “Purpose” from page 85 with teacher’s guidance.
Finally, the teacher will remind students to
practice the making of questions for the type of reading selected by them. The
Teacher will explain again open and closed questions if necessary.

LESSON # 1
Synchronous Meeting: Own Culture: Writing
Students are going to follow readings from page 89. While reading they will try to explain the underlined words without dictionary (following the chart), then we will discuss meaning and synonyms.
Finally, we will try to answer the questions
from page 90, point 4.
Asynchronous Meeting:
Students will continue practicing vocabulary and
reading comprehension by completing page 52 from Workbook and send evidence to
Teacher’s e-mail.
LESSON # 2
Synchronous Meeting: Infinitive of Purpose - Questions
Continuing with the topic of culture, now it’s
time for Students to start writing about their own Culture. Students will
follow the example of “A short Description of My Culture” activity from
platform page 90. After that, Students will complete point 6 from page 90 where
they will fill in the blanks to complete a description of his or her culture,
taking into account personal point of view.

reading comprehension by completing page 53 from Workbook and send evidence to
Teacher’s e-mail.
WEEK 23 (FOURTH TERM) - OCTOBER 19TH TO OCTOBER 24TH
After greeting students and checking attendance, students will practice new vocabulary (Unit 6), the main idea is to learn new words to improve our reading comprehension.

Meeting. Then, will share a second session as Asynchronous Meeting
to develop assignments with teacher guidance.
In this 23RD
WEEK the topics to be studied are the following:
LESSON # 1
Synchronous Meeting: Reading Test I
Students are going to present the readings they prepared, the methodology has already been explained. Students must prepare the document to be read in front of the class, the vocabulary and pronunciation will be taken into account, if the student make a mistake at reading words, a 0.25 will be reduced from the final grade per each mispronounced word. After reading the passage, each student must present a questionnaire about the reading which includes 5 questions of multiple choice. The questionnaire will be designed in Google forms and the link will be attached to the document to be shared with the class.
Note: Every student must be ready for explaining
any possible questions related to the document.
Asynchronous Meeting:
Students will continue practicing vocabulary and
reading to present their text next class. (4 students per lesson)
LESSON # 2
Synchronous Meeting: Reading Test II
Students are going to continue presenting the
readings they prepared, taking into account the instructions previously
explained. (Pronunciation and Questionnaire form)
Asynchronous Meeting:
Students will continue practicing vocabulary and
reading to present their text next class. (4 students per lesson). At the end
of the week we will have a review of the grammar explained during the whole
year by following the grammar boxes of the Student’s Book which will be
included in the final exam.
