We will try to increase our vocabulary by playing a variation of the spelling game. This time we will play the game by following a sequence. After one word is mentioned and spelled then the next student does the same, but must begin with the last letter of the previous word! For example: computer, read, definitely, year, robot, talkative... The idea is that we don´t repeat words and everybody participates. If any student doesn’t mention or spell the word well, he or she will be out of the game, until we complete the round with the others who are remaining. Students will continue working on the second conditionals structures or hypothetical scenarios, so students will try to create their perfect condition from the random situations presented on the teacher’s screen. Students will try to explain what would they do if they were in that situation.

Asynchronous Meeting:
Students will practice and take notes from the
vocabulary learned on the activities. Students will read page 77 from
the student’s book to identify new words and expressions. After that and for
the next lesson, they are going to plan a role-play to perform in pairs.
Students will create a short interview.
LESSON # 2
Synchronous Meeting: Role-Play I
First, we will listen and read a conversation in order to get the correct pronunciation of some words and expressions, so will follow the page 77 from student’s book.
After that, students will practice speaking
again, so this time students are going to plan an interview with one partner.
The main goal of the activity is to ask and answer questions in which we can
create a hypothetical scenario and add suggestions or give instructions.
Student A will be the interviewer while student B will be the interviewee.
Students can create their own dialogues and read some notes if necessary. One
student can act as a famous character or simply as a student sharing pieces of
advice.
Asynchronous Meeting:
Students will prepare a dialogue in groups, so it
will be necessary to select one classmate to prepare pronunciation and
vocabulary and be ready to present next class. Students can follow Gap Activity
from student’s book page 103 and 106 to get some ideas or examples.
Transcription of the interview is mandatory.

Synchronous Meeting: Role-Play II
It is time to act!!! We will present the interviews in class, so students are going to perform their interviews in pairs one time, and the rest of the classroom will try to understand what is the conversation about. Then, on a second presentation they will show the lines of the dialogue for us to follow the talk.
Finally, the teacher will give feedback about the activity.

more time, Students will complete the text by listening the reading and using

Students will follow page 88 with teacher guidance, Students will listen the points 1 and 2 to monitor pronunciation and vocabulary. Then, they will fill in the blanks and select the correct option where is necessary.

Powers video from page 88 and to practice comprehension, they will do the quiz

WEEK the topics to be studied are the following:
LESSON # 1
Synchronous Meeting: Reading Test I
Students are going to present the readings they prepared, the methodology has already been explained. Students must prepare the document to be read in front of the class, the vocabulary and pronunciation will be taken into account, if the student make a mistake at reading words, a 0.25 will be reduced from the final grade per each mispronounced word. After reading the passage, each student must present a questionnaire about the reading which includes 5 questions of multiple choice. The questionnaire will be designed in Google forms and the link will be attached to the document to be shared with the class.
Note: Every student must be ready for explaining
any possible questions related to the document.
